Update Houston Commercial Plans

Job ID: 40025603

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have an in-progress set of commercial building plans that stalled when my previous architect stepped away. I now need the drawings fully reviewed and updated so they meet City of Houston permitting requirements and are ready for submission no later than noon (CST) on 12 / 02 / 2025.

Scope of the refresh
• Structural design tweaks and verification
• Electrical layout corrections and coordination
• Plumbing layout adjustments
• Complete MEP alignment and documentation
• PlanSwift integration for precise quantity take-offs
• Final PE Stamp and MEP certification suitable for the Houston jurisdiction

The current files (CAD + PDF) and earlier mark-ups will be provided immediately. Code references, notes from the city’s pre-screen review, and my red-lined comments are already collated to streamline your work.

Deliverables (all by the deadline)
1. Updated plan set in DWG and PDF, organized per Houston permit checklist
2. Signed, dated PE Stamp and MEP certification pages
3. PlanSwift file reflecting the latest drawings
4. Brief change log highlighting every significant revision

Acceptance criteria
• Plans pass Houston’s online pre-screen without request for major corrections
• All sheets align with current local code editions (IBC, IPC, NEC, IECC as applicable)
• Digital files open error-free, layer naming and title blocks consistent across disciplines

If you have the relevant Texas license, solid Revit/AutoCAD workflow, and can commit to this timeline, I’m ready to share the packet today so you can hit the ground running.
