Transform SketchUp Model to Architectural Drawings

PROJECT TITLE
Convert My Cabinet SketchUp Model Into Clean, Dimensioned Architectural/Shop Drawings (PDF + CAD)

PROJECT SUMMARY
I need a drafter to take my existing SketchUp cabinet model (or hand sketch if needed) and produce professional, straight-line architectural/shop drawings with clear dimensions, similar to a permit set / cabinet shop drawing style. I will attach:

My SketchUp file (or my hand sketch if that’s what you’ll be using)

An example drawing showing exactly the look/style I want (from existing prints)

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY (WHAT I NEED)
I am not asking for new design ideas. I already have the design.
I only need you to convert my existing design into clean professional drawings with measurements.

FINAL DELIVERABLES (MUST PROVIDE ALL)
A) PDF DRAWING SET (clean, professional, ready to print)

Title block (simple and clean)

Scaled viewports (not random sizes)

Black/white linework (no renders, no textures)

Clear dimension strings and labels

Notes and callouts where needed

B) EDITABLE CAD FILE
One of these (tell me what you can provide):

DWG (AutoCAD) preferred

DXF acceptable if DWG not possible

C) SOURCE / EDITABLE FILES (so I can edit later)
One of these options (propose what’s best):

SketchUp + LayOut files (preferred if you work in SketchUp Pro)

Or Revit/AutoCAD source files if you convert it

Include all fonts used or use standard fonts

D) OPTIONAL (IF YOU CAN)

Simple cut list / panel schedule (not required, but a plus)

3D views in hidden line or simple isometric for reference (not render)

DRAWING SHEETS REQUIRED (MINIMUM)
You must produce these sheets (at minimum):

Cabinet Plan View (top view) with overall dimensions

Elevations (front elevation of each cabinet wall run) with all dimensions

Side Elevations / End Panels if applicable

At least 2 sections/details showing cabinet depth, toe kick, countertop thickness, fillers, scribes, etc. (as needed based on design)

Door/Drawer schedule (simple): opening sizes + door type (if visible in model)

Hardware location notes (only if shown in my example prints or model)

DIMENSION REQUIREMENTS (VERY IMPORTANT)

Use inches (or mm if I specify—follow my file)

Show overall run dimensions first, then internal breakdown dimensions

Dimension heights: floor to top, toe kick height, cabinet height, uppers height, clearance to ceiling if applicable

Dimension depth: base, uppers, panels, countertop overhang if applicable

Label each cabinet box with an ID (example: B1, B2, U1, U2) so it’s easy to reference

Dimension style must be clean and consistent (no messy overlapping)

GRAPHIC STYLE REQUIREMENTS (MATCH MY EXAMPLE PRINTS)

Straight-line “architect” look (Hidden Line / Vector look)

No colors, no shadows, no sketchy lines, no hand-drawn look

Clean lineweights: thicker outlines, thinner interior lines, readable text

Use a standard readable font (Arial, Helvetica, or similar)

SHEET SIZE
Use one of these sizes (tell me what you will deliver):

24” x 36” (preferred)

11” x 17” (acceptable)

A3 (acceptable)

WORKFLOW (STEP BY STEP SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION)
Step 1: Open my SketchUp file (and review my example prints)
Step 2: Confirm what views/sheets you will produce (send me a simple list)
Step 3: Create first draft PDF with at least one elevation and plan with dimensions (sample page)
Step 4: After I approve the style, create the full drawing set
Step 5: Deliver final PDF + DWG/DXF + source files

WHAT I WILL PROVIDE

SketchUp file (or hand sketch if needed)

Example prints showing the drawing style I want

Any missing critical measurements if something isn’t clear

WHAT YOU MUST ASK ME (ONLY IF NEEDED)
If anything is unclear, ask only these questions (don’t overcomplicate):

Confirm units (inches or mm)

Confirm sheet size (24x36 or 11x17)

Confirm if drawings are for “client approval” or “shop build” (I want shop-level clarity)

TIMELINE

First sample sheet: within 48 hours of award

Full set: based on scope (tell me your schedule clearly)

MILESTONES (POST THESE IN YOUR BID)
Milestone 1 – File Review + Sheet List
Deliverable: one-page PDF listing all sheets you will provide + confirm units, sheet size, and scale

Milestone 2 – Draft Style Sample (1 Sheet)
Deliverable: 1 PDF sheet (plan or elevation) fully dimensioned, matching my example style
Goal: I approve style before full production

Milestone 3 – Full Draft Drawing Set (PDF)
Deliverable: complete PDF set with all required sheets, dimensions, labels

Milestone 4 – Final Revisions + Final PDF
Deliverable: updated final PDF after my comments (1 revision round included)

Milestone 5 – CAD + Source Files Delivery
Deliverable: DWG/DXF + LayOut/SketchUp source (or equivalent) + any referenced files/fonts

HOW TO QUALIFY (IN YOUR RESPONSE)
Please include:

2–3 examples of clean dimensioned cabinet/shop drawings you have produced

What software you will use (SketchUp LayOut / AutoCAD / Revit, etc.)

Confirm you will deliver PDF + DWG/DXF + source files
