Townhouse As-Built CAD Plans -- 2
Budget: $125 – $250 USD
I have a four-storey, 4,000 sq ft historic townhouse that was recently scanned with a Leica BLK unit. The point-cloud files are already packaged as *.blk, so you’ll need Cyclone (to register and slice the cloud) and AutoCAD to create the drawings—without both, you simply won’t be able to work with the data.
Scope
• Draft one accurate, dimensioned layout per floor (ground through fourth) based on the cloud.
• Show existing framing and wall locations, door and room openings, and give particular attention to every window position and size.
• No structural details beyond framing lines and no MEP—this is strictly a basic layout with dimensions.
Deliverables
• Four DWG files, one for each level, layered and clean.
• A single, collated PDF set that mirrors the DWG sheets.
Acceptance
• Key dimensions must fall within ±¼ in of the point-cloud data.
• All windows clearly tagged and dimensioned.
• DWGs should open error-free in AutoCAD 2020+ and print to scale at ¼″ = 1′-0″.
If you’re comfortable slicing large clouds in Cyclone and drafting tidy as-builts in AutoCAD, let’s get started—the scans are ready for download as soon as we agree on milestones.
***If you don’t have Cyclone BLK360, don’t bid on this.***
