Topographic Survey & Drainage Analysis
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I need a complete topographical survey of my site for the purpose of planning new construction. The survey must capture all visible and underground features, then be drafted in CAD with a clear utilities layer that shows water supply lines, sewage systems, and electrical lines.
Once the base map is ready, I also require an engineering report that meets all applicable local building codes. The report must include a full drainage analysis, complete flood modelling for both on-site and off-site runoff, and a demonstration that the proposed design will have zero impact on adjacent public or private properties. All hydrologic calculations have to be performed with Atlas 14 rainfall data.
Typical tools you may use—AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS or comparable software—are fine so long as the final deliverables are provided in editable CAD files (DWG), PDF plots, and a signed engineering report with all modelling files attached.
Acceptance will be based on:
• Accurate, geo-referenced topo & utility survey in CAD
• Drainage model files reflecting Atlas 14 inputs
• Narrative and calculations that satisfy local code reviewers and clearly show no off-site impact
Please allow for one round of minor revisions after initial submission.
