Survey drafting-various sites and size
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
The survey drafting would involve taking the edited raw data that a surveyor would output in AutoCAD format and creating a plan that emulates an existing format / output style. Most outputs will be:
- pdf plan
- AutoCAD file where the Paper space is used to create the pdf and the Model space is the 3D data that the client can copy into their own software
The data sent to be drafted will come with notes from the surveyor and/or our client that defines what output is needed.
File sharing will be via Dropbox access to job folders containing the raw data file from the surveyor and (usually) an aerial image to be layered underneath the data, along with the notes on output requirements.
The surveyor for each job will be the main point of contact for any questions by email, but managers can be contacted also.
Most of the output required is likely to be for detail / feature / contour surveys. As things progress, other output types for boundary, aerial and earthworks' volume reports could be included to the drafting scope of works.
If the arrangement works for both parties, the duration of work is indefinite. The number of plans required will vary on a monthly basis, but you could expect to be doing an average of one per week.
