Structural engineering, 4-plex renovation, brace walls and custom beams, California stamps needed
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Attached drawing is full plan set for a four-plex renovation I am helping property owner design and permit. City has asked for CA engineer stamps on these three items:
1) 2ply 1-3/4 x 14 LVL header assembly, first floor walls, shown in blue color on Sheets 4, 5, and 7. All three sheets show the same assembly.
2) 3ply 1-3/4 x 14 LVL ridge beam assembly, shown in green color on Sheet 7.
3) Approve Sheet 6, Brace Walls, particularly fitness for lateral loads.
