Steel Truss Design for Boxing Bags
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I'm in need of a professional who can design a steel truss to support boxing bags in a commercial gym. The truss needs to be robust enough to handle three boxing bags, each weighing up to 100kg.
Key Requirements:
- Design a steel truss that can withstand heavy weights and rigorous use
- Truss must be suitable for a commercial gym setting
- Use of steel for the truss
- I have sketch and photos
- the corners of the gym are 75x75x5mm gal steel standing 3920mm tall. I want to connect a truss on each side of the boxing ring. Each truss will carry 3 evenly spaced boxing bags. Each bag will be canter levered 1m off the truss. Diagonal bracing OK if required. Truss can also be tied back to a concrete wall if required.

- Extensive experience in structural engineering, particularly with steel design
- Previous work in designing gym equipment or commercial gym installations
- Familiarity with the properties and uses of galvanized steel
- Strong understanding of safety regulations for commercial gym equipment.
