Standalone Metal Office Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm looking for a seasoned project engineer or architect to design a standalone steel (IPE or HEA) office inside my client's warehouse. The office is primarily for administrative work and needs to be around 36 square meters.
Key requirements:
- Design a metal (steel) structure
- The office should be efficient for administrative purposes
- Approximately 36 square meters in size
The warehouse is 8,5 meters high and we need a structure that will be around 6x6m - the administrative room. It would be great if we can also add another 1-1,2 meters on 2 of the sides so that we will have a balcony to observe all the activity in the warehouse, but just as an extension because we want the structure on the floor to be not more that 6x6m so that it will fit the already built concrete structure.
We are allowed to drill and perforate the concrete structure and the concrete floor, we are allowed to fix our structure also with the concrete structure. The office upstairs will be used for administrative purposes with 2-3 desks maximum. The room that we create - i want it to be like 3m high and to be glass on all 4 sides. the glass needs to be 2,7m high because it's already in place - we have it from the other warehouse that we were at before.
The stairs to access this room must be on the existing concrete wall so that it will not affect the circulation under this metal structure.
