Spanish-Style Three-Story Villa Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m planning a three-story Mediterranean villa in Addis Ababa and need an architect who can translate my vision into a solid, build-ready concept. I want the overall look to be distinctly Spanish—think warm, inviting proportions with a timeless elegance—while still feeling at home in the local climate and terrain.
Scope of work
• Floor-by-floor layout for a residence of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, organized for comfortable circulation and plentiful natural light.
• Exterior concept focused on graceful arched doorways and windows. Red-tiled roofing and stucco walls are typical of the style, so feel free to suggest them if they complement the scheme, but the arches are non-negotiable.
• Scaled floor plans and façade elevations suitable for municipal submission.
• A set of 3D perspective views or a simple walkthrough to help me visualize massing, materials, and colors.
• A concise materials palette and notes on local sourcing or practical substitutes.
What I’ll provide
• Site dimensions, setback requirements, and any available survey information.
• My preferences on room adjacencies, outdoor living areas, and parking.
What I need from you
• Proven experience with Mediterranean or comparable vernacular styles.
• Familiarity with climate-adaptive design for high-altitude locations like Addis Ababa.
• Drawings delivered in editable CAD (DWG) plus PDF. Renders in JPG/PNG or SketchUp/Lumion file.
• Two revision rounds to fine-tune layout and façade details.
If you have a portfolio piece that shows Spanish arches or similar villas, please include it. Looking forward to collaborating and turning this vision into a detailed set of plans ready for local engineers and builders to take forward. You need to be local to the project.
