SolidWorks Design & Simulation Package
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I’m looking to take a concept all the way from 3-D solid modeling to shop-ready documentation. SolidWorks is the primary environment for this job, so you should already feel at home building manufacturable solid models there. Once the geometry is locked down, I also need both FEA and CFD runs carried out to validate strength, stiffness, and flow behaviour before anything goes to prototyping.
A strong grasp of common manufacturing processes and material selection is essential; your choices should reflect realistic cost, tolerance, and lead-time constraints rather than textbook ideals. If you occasionally prefer AutoCAD or Fusion 360 for a particular drafting or CAM task, that flexibility is fine, but the master files must remain native to SolidWorks.
Deliverables I’ll review before sign-off:
• Native SolidWorks part & assembly files, fully parametric
• Production-ready 2-D drawings with tolerances, GD&T, and revision blocks
• FEA and CFD reports summarising setup, boundary conditions, results, and design recommendations
