Sketch to Preliminary Architectural Drawings
Budget: $30 – $50 CAD
I want an architectural consultant to convert a building sketch plan into a DWG file and generate a floor plan, elevation views from four sides and two cross sections.
The drawings must show major dimensions, wall heights and rough opening sizes in feet and inches, using conventional US/Canada construction materials and dimensions. The sketch plan does not specify many dimensions such as window or door sizes, so you must use your judgment and experience with standard US sizes to add those to the plan.
The proposed building is a residence of one story and less than 1000sf. I will also provide some photos of a similar building, both under construction and finished, but using stick construction.
I do NOT need framing details, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing plans, window or door schedules, a site plan, foundation plan, gutter or drainage plan, or 3D renderings. Since the exact plans you produce will not be inspected or built, such details are not important.
The plans must only serve as a realistic and potentially buildable example of this kind of project, so I can get and compare estimates from SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) providers and builders about potential costs of constructing such a the building envelope. Therefore, while you are not specifying panels and construction methods, it would be helpful if you have an understanding of SIPs as used in US/Canada residential construction.
You would only be hired after a video meeting to determine your ability to understand these requirements and communicate well in English about them. If you want to be considered, please ask only particular and detailed questions raised by these instructions. I will not respond to general greetings or questions that are already answered here.
There is no rush to complete this project.
