On-Site Piping Draftsman Required in Savannah
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I'm looking for a skilled piping draftsman to work on-site in Savannah, Georgia starting January 13 for approximately 2 months. All expenses will be covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure adequate clearance for approximately 40 main pipelines (2” to 20”) routed by the main designer.
- Integrate piping into main equipment drawings in 2D.
- Generate ISO drawings for off-site fabrication.
- Work predominantly with 304L stainless steel sch 10 pipe.
You will receive cut sheets for the valves and equipment, which primarily includes pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks. Your work will be in AutoCad LT, and you will need to include details on hanger supports in the drawings.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in AutoCad LT is required; experience with the full version of AutoCad is a plus.
- Previous experience as a piping draftsman is preferred, particularly with stainless steel piping.
- Ability to follow a mix of specific company standards and general industry standards for clearance.
- Experience with pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks is desirable.
