Simple 24 x 24 Workshop - Need FL Engineer Stamped Plans/Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want to build a 24 x 24 Gable Roof Woodoworking Shop that I will eventually insulate and air-condition (just not at the moment). Here are the specifications:
*** MUST BE A FLORIDA LICENSED ENGINEER
*** MUST PROVIDE DRAWINGS THAT WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR BUILDING PERMIT - UTILIZING CURRENT FLORIDA BUILDING CODES
The Wall Height: 10 foot.
North Wall: (3) 36" windows and (1) man door
South Wall: (3) 36" windows
East Wall: (1) 8ft roll up garage door.
West Wall: No openings - solid wall
Electrical: None
Plumbing: None
Roof Style: Gable
Roof Pitch: Designers choice
Area Building Permit: Escambia County
Skids: 6x6?
Foundational Base: Gravel
Trusses: Built to spec, not engineered due to cost.
Siding: Wood (T-11 or similar)
Flooring: Plywood
Insulation: None.
Purpose: Woodworking Shop ( heaviest piece of equipment is 550lb)
I will add electrical later. Our county (Escambia) requires all sheds over 400 sqft to have Florida Engineer Stamped plans before a permit can be approved.
