Simple 3D Sock Holder Model
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I am preparing a university project and need a workable yet straightforward 3-D model of a reusable sock holder to illustrate the concept to potential manufacturers. All the creative groundwork is done: I already have hand sketches, functional drawings, an exploded sketch and a written parts description covering the carabiner hook, round logo disk, connecting links and the clamping element.
Your task is to translate this information into a clean digital model built in AutoCAD, then export it as a STEP/STP file (an extra STL would be great if it is no trouble). I also need a simple exploded view that identifies each part and shows basic material indications; assembly directions or full production documentation are not required. The logo on the round disk should appear as an engraved feature, not embossed or colour-separated.
Because this is an academic exercise with a lean budget, the emphasis is on clarity and realism rather than manufacturing precision. If you can keep the file structure logical, surfaces tidy and the overall file size manageable, I will consider the job a success. Feel free to suggest small tweaks that might make the presentation stronger without adding significant complexity—or cost.
