Draftsperson | Scaffolding Design (AutoCAD & Inventor)
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson with strong expertise in both AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to create technical drawings and 3D models for scaffolding components used in our innovative Butlin 360 system. You will work closely with our lead engineer and design team to develop practical, high-quality, and cost-effective scaffolding solutions while ensuring designs are copyrighted and patented to protect our intellectual property.
Scope of Work:
✅ Create detailed 2D & 3D scaffolding component drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
✅ Generate clear fabrication-ready technical documentation.
✅ Optimise designs for manufacturing, assembly, and field use.
✅ Ensure all drawings and designs are properly documented for copyright and patent applications.
✅ Work collaboratively within the design team to maintain consistency across projects.
Required Skills & Experience:
✅ 5+ years of experience as a Draftsperson in structural or mechanical design.
✅ Expert-level proficiency in both AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (2D & 3D)—portfolio required.
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate fabrication-ready drawings.
✅ Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and designers.
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:
➕ Experience in scaffolding, temporary works, or modular construction.
➕ Understanding of intellectual property protection (copyright & patents).
Deliverables:
