Secondary means of escape - alternations to existing building
Budget: $100 – $750 CAD
As a project consultant, I’m working for a client on a project that needs a secondary means of escape to be created in the basement of an occupied house.
I’m looking for someone that knows the regs and can take existing build drawings (pdf format only) and provide structural alteration design to existing 200mm thick RC wall and new build external stairs (Concrete) up to grd level. Update existing floor plan (pdf) to show the new escape route and details of the minimum door size needed for this escape.
This will enable me to get building control approval.
Project is live and my ground worker is ready to start so I needs someone available now and knows what they are doing and knows the uk regs. This isn’t a big job but I have other projects in the pipe line.
The person to hire should be able to do structural engineering design / alterations included and minor architectural work as explained.
No need to attend the project. This is ‘desktop’ work.
