SWMM Stormwater Modeling for Perth Drainage
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I'm looking for a professional with extensive experience in stormwater modeling using SWMM software. The project involves an interconnected soakwell system that overflows into the City of Perth's drainage system.
Key Project Requirements:
- Calculate necessary onsite storage to maintain the outflow rate below the permissible site discharge limit of 0.12 cubic metres/second per hectare (or 120 litres/second per hectare) for an area of 1125 m2.
- Provide a detailed report encompassing all calculations.
- Create a visual simulation or animation showcasing the stormwater flow.
- Supply raw data files and model input.
The model should take into account extreme storm events, in addition to the usual conditions.
The system is normally designed to cater for a high intensity, short duration, once in 50 year storm. Storage is used to reduce the outflow rate to that which would have been produced by a longer, but lower intensity once in 20 year storm on the original undeveloped property. However, this premise is not based on inner city areas and it is considered that adequate provision should be made to cater for a once in 100 year storm.
It's crucial that the modeling adheres to the City of Perth regulations. Therefore, familiarity with these guidelines is highly desirable.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in SWMM software
- Strong analytical skills for stormwater calculations
- Experience in creating visual simulations
- Knowledge of City of Perth stormwater regulations
I can provide layout in CAD format.
Please ensure that your proposal highlights your relevant experience and includes examples of similar projects you've completed.
