Rough opening design for a big patio slider - Need to have experience in Canada/US
Budget: $100 – $150 CAD
I'm in need of a structural engineer to assist with the design of a Rough opening design for a big patio slider . The ideal candidate should have expertise and experience in structural engineering in Canada/US.
Key points to consider include:
- Designing the structural elements (including load calculations) of the rough opening based on the span (we're looking to put in a 12' patio slider to replace what's already there, which is a 8' slider)
- Creating blueprints for the project, outlining key structural features and coming up with full BOM
- Providing technical input on materials to be used for the construction, considering factors like durability, cost, and environmental impact
Experience with similar projects, knowledge of local building regulations, and excellent communication skills are highly desirable.
