Revise Commercial Power Distribution Drawings

Job ID: 40305168

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Here is what I need from you:

I need a revision of my electrical drawing, as per the requirements of PG COUNTY, MD USA

The drawing is attached, also a photo of the current way the meters' are setup, and this is what the County Reviewer is asking to be done:

1. You need to show grouping of the disconnects to comply with NEC 2020, sec 230.72. As it is right now, the drawing you provided does not show this.
2. Grounding detail must be submitted including size of conductors per NEC 2020, sec 250
3. Be sure to differentiate the panel & panel schedule and load calculation for the panel with sub-panel B connected to it.

This is what the electrician provided as information to use for the corrections we need to do:

1. Panel B stays as is - still feeding everything that’s there already for the common. *you can add the 2 sump pumps to an additional circuit* Trip/Pole 15/1 Wire Size #14
2. Panel 6 needs to have its own schedule (different from Schedule A) because it will be the one feeding the common panel - needs to reflect that. Call it Schedule C - add: Trip/Pole - 60/2 Wire size - #6 (Be sure to change that in the drawing too, I think I told you 2-2-2 feeding the common panel)
3. The grouping for the grounding, you will need your engineer to figure out how that needs to be drawn. - The size of service for each unit is 60A. Each meter for each unit has a 60A disconnect. The size of the service conductors to the building from the pole (utility) is a set of #2 Cu with a stranded neutral. The #2 Cu is tapped at the weatherhead to 350 kcmil then enters the building.
