Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m completing a new build in Hawthorn Woods with a small grade change that calls for a Rochester Classic 6" segmental retaining wall. The village will not release the permit until the wall plans carry a current Illinois-licensed structural engineer’s stamp.
Here is what you’ll receive from me:
• Full architectural set for the house
• Current plot of survey with proposed grading
• A to-scale landscaper drawing showing the wall location, drainage stone, perforated pipe, and geogrid setbacks
I still need you to:
1. Review and verify the landscaper’s drawing for accuracy against the survey and grade.
2. Recommend any tweaks that will improve stability or meet code before stamping.
3. Provide signed and sealed calculations and drawings ready for village review (PDF and one hard copy).
I’ll handle the permit submission, so the core deliverable is a stamped plan package that satisfies Hawthorn Woods building department requirements and clearly references Rochester Classic 6" units.
