Residential Structural Engineering and Design for new home with rooftop garden/vegetated roof
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I am located in Santa Cruz County, California, USA.
I have some rough drawings in LibreCAD of the floorplan for the three levels, as well as elevations, and including grade of the slope. These can be provided in .pdf or .dxf formats. I have the geotechnical report as well.
With a living roof and some large open spans this will be challenging and I am attempting to find someone who has skills both in design and structural calculations. I would like to keep the structure confined to wood as much as possible.
I have had an architect assist with aspects of this but we are stuck waiting for structural calculations to finalize the design.
Ideally I am looking for someone to help me create plans for submittal to the county for approval for building but also 3d renderings with intricate detail to assist me in constructing this home.
The floorplan/design are flexible and I would like to work with someone who can help to refine the process to include the structural and design elements.
