Residential Electrical CAD Plans

I’m preparing a brand-new home build and I need a detail-oriented AutoCAD specialist to turn my architect’s floor plans into a full set of electrical drawings. The scope is strictly residential new-construction, so every sheet must align with current NEC and local code requirements for single-family homes.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Lighting plan: switch locations, fixture callouts, legends, and circuiting.
• Outlet & circuit layout: receptacles, small-appliance circuits, dedicated loads, GFCI/AFCI notes, plus homeruns clearly tagged.
• Complete electrical system: service entrance, panel schedule with load calculations, single-line diagram, grounding, and any sub-panel if required.

I’ll supply the architectural DWGs, fixture schedule, and any municipal standards I have. You’ll return layered AutoCAD (.dwg) files ready for my engineer to stamp, along with clean PDFs for permitting. Two rounds of revisions are expected to fine-tune everything after initial review.

If you’re fluent in AutoCAD, comfortable with residential code, and can keep symbols tidy and consistent, I’d love to see samples of similar house projects you’ve produced and hear your turnaround time.
