Residential Deck Overhang Design Approval
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I have an existing deck, planning to replace the decking and railing
Center deck I want it new and the sides I want to keep the framing but adding joists between the existing joists to have 12” OC now 24”
The deck is made of 3 sides, left right and center
Center deck is regular and does not need structural engineering
Left side has an overhang that I need to keep by adding a double beam in the front and support in the front which requires a structural engineer to make sure the county approves that
Can send all the measurements and all the pictures required
