Residential Addition Engineering Plan
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking professional assistance to create engineered stamped plans for a residential home addition, specifically designed to add more living space. We would like a 2nd floor over the theater room that would attached to a 2nd car garage via breezeway with a finished 2nd story.
- Existing Plans: My existing floor plans are only partial and might require some additional work to incorporate the new addition properly. We have a site plan and the proposed floor plan drawn to scale currently.
- Construction Materials: The plan should be designed primarily using wood, ensuring structural integrity and compatibility with the existing building design. Also, advice on integrating utilities like HVAC, water, and electricity will be required.
- Skills: The job is ideal for a licensed and experienced civil engineer who has a track record in residential construction and knowledge of local building codes and regulations. Ability to deliver an engineer-stamped plan is a must.
I'm looking forward to seeing innovative and efficient solutions that will make the best use of the available space while adhering to the highest safety standards.
We are looking to submit permits in 3 weeks to Wake County, North Carolina's Permit department.
