Redesign floor plan/expansion project
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hello,
I am looking to expand a property. However, I would like to redesign the existing internal floor plan as well as to expand the property to the back (and side, if necessary).
As such I am requesting bidders for an architect to design a plan that can meet the following design requirements.
Requirements
Open Floor Plan for living dining and kitchen areas
There must be flow in design
Foyer/Entry area
Expand living and dining area
Expand Kitchen, island required with seating area
1 Master bedroom with ensuite (must be on the top floor) with balcony
2 bedroom
1 additional bathroom
½ bath for guests
Office/den for working
Sitting nook (where? not sure, somewhere with a view)
Must have hurricane shutter (tropics)
Laundry room with utility and linen closet (must be on the ground floor)
Mid-century modern design
Design should be safe for babies and toddlers
Backyard deck for entertainment
Solar-powered
Perimeter wall**
Things to note:
No expansion to the front of the property
No changes to the external of the original property, unless it is to the side and back
