Project Objective
We are looking to hire an experienced Cost Accountant (preferably with manufacturing industry exposure) to design a comprehensive, automated costing system that calculates the cost of each product in real time and maintains historical records year-wise.
The costing sheet must be:
• Real-time (auto updates with new inputs)
• Database supported (stores old historic cost)
• Highly detailed and accurate
• Completely formula-driven (no manual repetitive entries)

Scope of Work
The costing sheet must consider every cost factor linked to product manufacturing, including but not limited to:
Raw Material Costing
• Multi-supplier rate comparison
• Thickness / specification / yield linked pricing
• Layout scrap & process scrap impact
Machine & Process Costing
• Machine-wise production speed/output
• Machine efficiency, changeover loss, downtime allowance
• Depreciation (machine + tooling)
• Power consumption per machine
• OEE considerations (if applicable)
Labor/Manning Cost Structure
• Common manpower cost allocation
• Dedicated manpower cost allocation
• Multiple shift variation options
Overheads & Additional Costs
• Loan interest charges allocation
• Advertisement/marketing spend allocation
• Admin & factory overheads
• Utility consumption (electricity, gas, compressor air, etc.)
• Packing, QC, logistics, warehouse handling
Outputs Required
• Per piece cost + per batch cost
• Minimum order affordability check
• Comparative costing of previous years
• Cost simulation tool based on price change (e.g., tinplate rates, ink pricing, labor cost variation, etc.)

Expert in Cost Accounting
Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structure
Hands-on experience in micro costing / process costing
Pro in Advanced Excel Formulas, especially:
• Power Query / Data Model (preferred)
• Dynamic Arrays (FILTER, SORT, UNIQUE, XLOOKUP, LET, LAMBDA, etc.)
• INDEX-MATCH / XLOOKUP
• VBA optional but not mandatory if formulas are optimized
Ability to design error-free, scalable, user-friendly systems
