Project-Based Quantity Surveyor Partnership
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
IYATTVA LLP regularly prepares BOQs, detailed estimates, and full cost consultancy packages for architects and contractors, and I’m ready to bring an experienced Quantity Surveyor on board whenever project flow demands it. You’ll step in on a project-to-project basis, working mainly on civil and interior packages; familiarity with MEPF is a plus for future work but not essential right now.
The core of each assignment is straightforward: translate drawings and specs into an accurate Bill of Quantities, apply the latest SOR along with live market rates for estimation, run solid rate analyses, and help shape the tender documentation that ultimately lands on a client’s desk. A civil-engineering mindset is valuable because many of our jobs involve structural and architectural elements that need a nuanced take-off.
Typical deliverables (per project)
• Measurement sheets and detailed BOQ in our Excel template
• Estimation file showing SOR references, market-rate backups, and rate analysis
• Summary budget with clear assumptions and exclusions
• Tender inputs—pricing schedules, clarifications, and any cost notes we need for submission
You should be fully comfortable with MS Excel for formulas and linking sheets. Experience extracting quantities from AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift speeds things up and will be viewed favorably.
