We are working together to develop an innovative AI-based website that simplifies the building permit application process and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced AI developer to assist in developing Phase 1 of our project, focusing on automating the building permit application process and reviewing zoning plans.

Key Features in Phase 1:

1. Automated Application Process:
• Develop a feature where users can input information about their construction project, and the system automatically fills in the necessary application forms based on applicable rules and zoning plans.
2. AI-Based Zoning Plan Review:
• AI should retrieve documents from relevant public websites (e.g., municipal zoning plans) and analyze them to give the user a clear overview of what is allowed to build on a specific property.
3. PDF Generation:
• The system must generate a PDF containing the application data and zoning plan analysis, which the user can purchase and use to submit their building permit application.
4. User Interface:
• A simple and intuitive interface that guides the user through the application process.

Qualifications:

• Experience with AI and process automation.
• Experience with data retrieval from public sources and document analysis.
• Experience in developing intuitive user interfaces.
• Familiarity with PDF generation and document management is a plus.

1. Backend:
• Python (Django, Flask) or Node.js: Ideal for building AI-driven platforms with good integration for APIs, AI models, and document handling.
• Java or C# for more complex enterprise-level backend systems.
2. Frontend:
• React.js or Vue.js: Both are popular choices for creating intuitive and fast user interfaces.

3. AI/ML:
• TensorFlow or PyTorch for AI-based zoning analysis and document scraping.
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) models to analyze zoning regulations, potentially using libraries like spaCy or Hugging Face.
