Plan Review by Structural Engineer or Architect for Small, Residential Cast-in-Place Concrete (PRACTICING IN CALIFORNIA ONLY)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
**This project requires an architect or engineer currently practicing in California**
I'm seeking a Structural Engineer or Architect to do a plan review for a residential cast-in place vault that will hold a prefabricated swim spa.
Scope of work is to review the plan for structural integrity, identify if changes are needed, and suggest
ways to optimize the design. I will need some kind of engagement letter or invoice from a California practicing Structural Engineer or Architect to submit to the City.
Drawings are NOT needed. This is for an over the counter permit, I am the builder, and the City is fine with my drawings. If including drawings makes it easier for your work process, go for it.
Attached Files:
1. PDF with drawings, dimensions, loading, rebar schedule, backfill schedule and slab prep, drainage and penetrations, kit pool drawings.
2. Spreadsheet with information in table and list form.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive practical experience in structural engineering
- Knowledge and experience with new construction and structural assessment
- Able to work without specific software constraints
- California based with understanding of local building codes and regulations. This is a requirement set by the City.
Flexibility in tools and methods will be a key asset for this project. Your expertise will bring our project to life while ensuring structural integrity.
