Pennsylvania Structural Engineering Stamp Required
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have a set of plans for a commercial building (A ground-mounted solar array) that are already stamped in California using "K2 racking", or this can be changed to using "Ironridge racking". I need a structural engineer who is licensed in Pennsylvania to review the plans and provide a PA stamp.
Key Requirements:
- Review of existing plans to determine if they need modifications or if they are compliant with Pennsylvania building codes.
- Provide a PA Structural Engineering stamp on the plans if deemed suitable.
- Excellent communication skills to explain any necessary changes in layman's terms.
The ideal candidate for this project should be a licensed structural engineer in Pennsylvania with experience in commercial building design. Understanding of Pennsylvania building codes is crucial. Most importantly, I need someone who can deliver this promptly, as we are on a tight schedule.
I have the K2 system engineering attached and the plans for the project. The only pages that need to be stamped on the plan-set (GHS Outdoor showroom stamped plans2) are pages S1-1 and S2-1. So perhaps the easiest thing to do is to just stamp those two pages.
Alternatively, a system can be designed that is 8 modules wide using the general layout shown in the Screenshot that is attached. If that is used, I would want to use Ironridge XR100 rails with the Ironridge tilt-up kits, and using ballast blocks that are spaced 7'6", with 34" cantilevers at either end. Thus 4 ballast blocks per 8-module setup. For this alternative setup, the wind speed should be 115 mph using 07-16, risk II, wind exposure B. This is going on the ground, so the height is very low (<3'). Tilt angle can be 15 degrees .
