Patio Roof plans
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for someone to create plans and design a patio roof for me. The size of the patio area is 100-300 sq ft and I would like the roof to have a gable structure. I am open to suggestions regarding materials for the roof and I am looking forward to discussing the potential options with the freelancer. I need someone with great attention to detail, creative input and the ability to produce detailed and accurate plans. Need to know what a design will cost
Patio Cover 14’ x 20’. My drawings are just an attempt to show what I want.
Can it be supported by 4 posts only? Should they be 6x6 of 8x8 posts
Roof pitch to match house. 2 ½:12 in rear, 3:12 in front
Rafters 24” OC ?
Rafters and ridge beam can be tied into existing house studs and block
2’ overhang on gable end, 2’ 6” rafter overhang on beams
Would like post to be slightly inset of rear of house, towards front
Current Patio slab is ~ 5” thick, thicker at house. Are footers required.
Need drawing and to know sizing of lumber for beams, rafters, ridge beam, posts, sheathing, etc for Building Inspector.
Need to meet snow loads (Pittsburgh area, zip 15046)
