Outdoor PCB Enclosure Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm in need of a professional who can design a 2-piece enclosure for an outdoor mounted PCB. The PCB has the following dimensions: 75mm deep x 60mm wide x 22mm tall.
Key Requirements:
- The PCB should slide in from an opening at the bottom of the enclosure and be secured at the bottom with screws.
- The body of the enclosure must feature a 1/2" male NPT threaded connection at the top right.
- The bottom 20mm of the PCB should have a dedicated removable cover piece to allow access to wire terminals.
- The removable cover piece should contain a screw or some sort of snap lock mechanism for security.
- The enclosure should have a 14mm wide x 3mm tall isolated air channel. This channel should enter from the bottom back side of the enclosure, pass through an opening in the PCB containing power resistors, and exit towards the top right of the PCB where the 1/2" male NPT threaded fitting is located.
Material & Design:
- The preferred material for the enclosure is plastic.
- The mounting type is a threaded through hole fitting.
- The level of water resistance needed is splash-proof.

The ideal freelancer for this project should have significant experience in PCB enclosure design, preferably for outdoor applications. They should have a deep understanding of materials suitable for such designs, particularly plastic, and be able to create a design that is both functional and compliant with the specified water resistance level.
