Outdoor Deck & BBQ Area Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I'm looking for a conceptual design for an outdoor deck and BBQ area. It should connect to the left side of an existing amenities building.
Key specifications:
- Deck footprint: 20 metres wide x 50 metres long
- Roofline footprint: 20 metres wide x 30 metres long (centred within deck)
- Deck height: 1.5 metres above ground level
- Roof: Low-pitched, flat or low-pitched monument-coloured metal roof supported by evenly spaced steel posts
- Deck Material: Timber, in a natural tone
- Steps: Wide steps at multiple points, located at the rear and sides of the deck
- Access: At least one ramp providing DDA-compliant access
- Amenities: Two fixed barbecue units and a stainless steel bench with sink
- Power: General power outlets along the kitchen area
- Waste: Bins located at one end, screened from the main deck area
The design must align with existing services such as power, water, and waste and also needs to connect to the existing toilet and laundry amenities block. The space should allow for the deck to extend well beyond the roofline and include wide steps for access.
