Ongoing Cabinet Shop Drawings & CNC File Support (Commercial Work)
Budget: $500 – $1,000 USD
We are a cabinet and countertop manufacturer expanding our CNC production workflow and are seeking a reliable freelancer for ongoing commercial projects.
The scope includes both submittal drawings and CNC-ready file preparation for multi-room commercial projects (vanities, casework, millwork, etc.), not just single custom pieces.
Key Deliverables:
• Submittal/shop drawings for contractor approval (plans, elevations, dimensions, callouts)
• DXF files for CNC (clean, layered, and organized)
• DXF files must follow layer standards (CUT_OUTSIDE, CUT_INSIDE, DADO, DRILL, etc.)
• Files ready for production (layered by operation; nesting preferred)
• G-code is a plus but not required
Technical Requirements:
• Experience with cabinet construction methods (frameless preferred)
• Understanding of CNC workflows and tooling
• Ability to maintain consistent file structure for repeat production
Preferred Software:
• Microvellum
• Cabinet Vision
• AutoCAD + CNC workflow also acceptable
Timeline:
Typical turnaround is 1–2 weeks depending on project size. Ongoing work available.
• Includes 1–2 revision rounds for contractor/architect comments
Budget Structure:
We are looking for scalable, production-friendly pricing such as:
• Per cabinet
• Per linear foot
• Or per project with a not-to-exceed range
We are not looking for one-off custom pricing. The goal is to establish a long-term relationship with consistent volume and repeatable workflow.
