Need architectural plans for first draft of eco-house
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need architectural drawings of my design for a simple cube house built under a large barn roof for energy efficiency and economy. It has two pods 30x32' joined by a bathroom and utility room. There are 4 bedrooms, one bathroom, and an office in the bedroom pod and 1 master bedroom and bath in the main pod with living/ dining/ kitchen and laundry. Outside, in the ten foot breezeway between the 2 pods the pods are connected by a bathroom with soaking tub and a utility and laundry room. The rooms are all cooled by large sliding glass doors and ceiling fans while the large barn roof, above shades and keeps it cool while collecting rainwater for use in the home and gardens.
Energy efficient LED lighting, fans, all electric kitchen are designed to go solar later when the owner can afford to add solar, and propane instant hot water system and propane fire pit and fire table outside but no natural gas. Lots of outlets are important on every room and outside and a gray water system (cycling the used water from showers, sinks and laundry out to gardens and trees and the black water from kitchen and toilets into the septic. Green building ideas welcome!
I need this to get bids from contractors before I go to far as I only qualify for a certain amount of loan and must find a way to build--I need plans for that process. I will need engineered plans to get actual permit, this is for contractors and I need it as soon as possible.
Attached are some pics of other homes like this--the company that made them went out of business. Also my drawings of the pods I want to build
