Modern Pool Table Base CAD Design
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I'm seeking a skilled CAD designer to create a modern-style base for a pool table.
Key Requirements:
- Design a modern-style pool table base
- Ensure stability and aesthetic appeal
- Provide detailed CAD drawings
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Experience in furniture design, particularly metal furniture
- Strong understanding of modern design principles
I’m looking to design a steel or stainless steel base for a standard 7ft & 8ft slate pool table. The base needs to be sturdy, functional, and modern in style, with a focus on laser cutting and welding. I would like to work with you on this project.
Here are the details:
Material: Stainless steel or mild steel (depending on cost)
Finish: Powder-coated or brushed finish
Style: Industrial, minimalist, sturdy (something like X-frame, pedestal, or open-frame legs)
Dimensions: The base should be designed to support an 8ft pool table 500kg, with the total height roughly 750mm high
Deliverables:
2D fabrication drawings suitable for CNC or laser cutting
3D CAD files (STEP, DXF, IGES)
Optional renderings (if possible, for visual reference)
Exploded view with detailed assembly instructions
The design will also need to be modular incorporating a ladder frame at the top in which the legs can bolt to. This rectangular frame will also support the slate. If you’re available, could you please provide a quote and estimated timeline? I am looking for a design that can be directly sent to the manufacturer in China for fabrication.
