Milwaukie, Oregon Deck Plans
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We recently purchased a property we are renovating on our own. Looking to replace the existing deck, and due to exceeding 10' (elevation from native soil is between 9'9" - 10' 5" we are in need of plans from a structural engineer.
We need engineer stamped deck plans for a structure along the entire length of the building (20') and extending out 12' from the building along with associated railings. Must have engineering stamp in the State of Oregon, this project is in Clackamas County.
We would like to install only three posts/footings along the width of the project and beams that would be appropriate to retain a stiff feeling. Local code requires 2"x6" cross supports with blocking between for posts.
Decking material will be Trex Enhance Basics 1"x6". Railings will be standard pressure treated wood.
Due to the deck currently attaching to an overhanging second floor, this will need to be engineered as a free-standing deck.
