Medium Office Structural Design Needed

Job ID: 40194180

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

A new medium-scale office building is moving from concept to construction and now needs a complete structural design package. The architectural layout is ready; what remains is a full set of engineering documents that will let the contractor break ground with confidence.

Scope
• Perform all structural analysis and calculations for gravity and lateral loads in compliance with local code.
• Optimise framing, slab, beam, and column schedules to balance strength, economy, and constructability.
• Produce detailed drawings (PDF + editable CAD/BIM) with notes, sections, connection details, and material specs.
• Provide a concise design report summarising assumptions, load take-offs, software output, and safety factors.

Preferred tools include ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent, paired with AutoCAD or Revit for documentation. If you already have a different licensed package that handles steel and reinforced-concrete design to code, that works too as long as you state it up front.

Acceptance
I will review:
1. Calculation sheets and native software files.
2. Complete drawing set ready for permit submission.
3. One round of revisions responding to city or architect comments.

Timeline is flexible but I would like the first draft analysis within two weeks so the architect can integrate any structural geometry changes early. Let me know your projected milestone breakdown and, if helpful, examples of recent office buildings you’ve engineered.
