As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting material takeoffs, and working closely with engineers to develop precise estimates. Your expertise will directly impact project feasibility, cost control, and successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed material takeoffs from drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate cost assessments.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates, including materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Maintain a database of material costs, supplier quotes, and labor rates.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Assist in refining project scopes, ensuring estimates align with design intent and client expectations.
• Provide timely and well-documented cost breakdowns for bids, proposals, and budget planning.
Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in estimation software (such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, or industry-specific tools).

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with vendors and suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
