Maine Shoreline Riprap Permit Package
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am preparing a complete permit application for a riprap shoreline-stabilization project on a tidal property in Maine and need a consultant who can take the package from a blank slate to a submission-ready file. Because no geotechnical or hydrologic work has been done yet, the first step will be coordinating and interpreting new field studies so we have the data required by Maine DEP and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
From there, I’ll rely on you to translate those findings into sealed engineering drawings and calculations that clearly demonstrate riprap sizing, toe protection, filter layers, and tie-ins to existing grades. A concise but thorough environmental impact assessment must follow, addressing habitat, water quality, and potential mitigation. Finally, all legal paperwork—application forms, abutter notices, cover letters, and any supporting affidavits—needs to be assembled so the entire package can be submitted in one go.
