MEP Plans Revision and Completion for a Small Residential House
Budget: $250 – $500 USD
I have an existing set of architectural plans for a small residential house (partially built) that require correction and completion of MEP systems (electrical, hydraulic, and sanitary). This is NOT a drafting or redrawing job. The goal is to develop fully functional and standardized MEP executive plans that eliminate interpretation during construction.
Current Issues Detected:
- Undefined electrical routes (installed differently in each house)
- No clear circuit definition or panel design
- Illogical switch locations and lighting layout
- Hydraulic system lacks accessible main shutoff and proper distribution logic
- Plumbing lacks ventilation, proper slopes, and clear separation between sanitary and rainwater
- Inconsistencies between drawings and actual construction
Scope of Work:
- Review and correct existing plans
- Define complete MEP systems with construction logic
- Ensure standardization for replication across multiple houses
- Provide clear routing, dimensions, diameters, slopes, and system hierarchy
- Eliminate any need for on-site interpretation
Deliverables:
- Complete executive plans (Electrical, Hydraulic, Sanitary) in PDF format
- Editable CAD files (DWG)
- Isometric diagrams (especially for plumbing)
- Construction details (key nodes and connections)
- Schedules (outlets, fixtures, equipment)
Important Notes:
- Focus is on functionality and constructability; no renders or 3D visualization required.
- Final result should be clean and structured to allow future modeling in Revit (Revit not required in this phase).
Timeline: 7–10 days (flexible depending on quality)
Budget: $500 USD (fixed)
Please Include in Your Proposal:
- Experience with residential MEP systems.
- Examples of executive construction drawings.
- Confirmation of which disciplines you handle directly.
