MEP Engineers Needed
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I'm seeking experienced MEP engineers for a long-term collaboration on mixed-use residential and commercial projects. The specific MEP services required include:
- HVAC Systems: Design, installation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Plumbing Systems: Expertise in designing and implementing plumbing systems.
- Electrical Systems: Comprehensive electrical system design and management.
- Fire Fighting: Designing and implementing fire protection systems.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding and experience working with both international and national building codes.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and implement MEP systems using AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and other industry software.
Conduct HVAC load calculations using Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE 700, or eQuest.
Perform electrical system design using ETAP, SKM Power Tools, and Dialux.
Design plumbing and fire protection systems using Elite Software Fire, Pipe Flow Expert, or similar tools.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage or BIM 360.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
3-5 years of experience in MEP design and execution.
Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and other relevant software.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Experience in BIM coordination and clash detection.
Familiarity with MEP project estimation, costing, and BOQ preparation.
Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Autodesk Revit, ETAP, or other MEP-related software.
Experience with sustainable building practices and LEED certification.
Prior experience in construction, contracting, or consultancy firms.
