Licensed MD Mechanical Engineer Needed - URGENT TURNAROUND
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’m retrofitting an industrial-grade Government warehouse in Maryland and need a mechanical engineer who already holds a current MD PE license and can place a professional stamp on the final drawings. The schedule is tight, so I have to move from concept to permit-ready documents almost immediately after you sign our NDA.
Scope
• Full HVAC system design for a complete replacement of the existing equipment.
• Load calculations, equipment selection, duct and piping layouts, controls strategy, and procurement schedules fall under your remit as this is a genuine design-build effort.
• All plans must prioritize energy efficiency, precise climate control, and overall cost-effective installation without compromising compliance with state and federal guidelines for government facilities.
• You will interface via Zoom with the structural, electrical, and fire-protection engineers already assigned to the job to coordinate penetrations, power requirements, and schedule.
Key expectations
• Produce stamped and signed mechanical drawings and calcs acceptable to Maryland authorities having jurisdiction.
• Respond rapidly to RFI’s and plan-review comments; the project is time sensitive.
• Be available for at least two virtual coordination meetings during the first week and ad-hoc sessions thereafter.
