Budget: $1,000 – $2,000 USD
Ivy Terra seeks a highly experienced, job-ready AutoCAD drafter to produce 2D landscape and irrigation plans based on provided design markups. This is for ongoing, immediate work. Only candidates who can deliver AIA-standard, permit-ready plans for Texas municipalities—without any training or onboarding—will be considered.
No architects, civil, structural, or MEP drafters. No 3D, visualization, or “general CAD” experience. Landscape/irrigation sheet production only.
Required Software/Skills:
- AutoCAD (full version): Must produce AIA-standard construction documents and complete multi-sheet plan sets.
- Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam: Ability to create, compile, and mark up permit-ready PDF drawing sets.
- Microsoft Excel: Proficiency for preparing and managing plant/irrigation schedules and legend tables included in construction sheets.
Preferred but not required:
- Land F/X, RainCAD, or similar irrigation drafting plugins
- Civil 3D
- Experience importing schedules or legends from Excel to AutoCAD
To Apply (all items required):
1. Work Samples: Upload two or more full permit-ready landscape or irrigation plan sets (PDFs) you have produced, including at least one for a Texas municipality. Plans must be unredacted and include layouts, details, legends, and sheet numbering. Submissions without work samples will be ignored.
2. Experience List: List the Texas cities/jurisdictions for which you have personally produced and submitted plans. State the number of years you have worked specifically as a landscape or irrigation drafter.
3. AIA & Permitting: Name the AIA documentation standards you have used (sheet numbering, layer management, title block). Confirm your experience with: [ ] Sheet set organization [ ] Irrigation legends [ ] Planting schedules [ ] City submittal docs (answer YES/NO for each).
4. Recent Project: In 2–3 sentences, describe your most recent project producing permit-ready landscape or irrigation plans.
5. Job-Readiness: Confirm: “I am able to work independently, with no training, and can deliver plans to your specifications from day one.” Optional: Note if you have CIC or CID credentials and provide documentation.
Compensation: $50–$2,000 per work package based on scope and complexity. Ongoing contract work available for qualified drafters.
Applicants who do not provide all required information and samples will not be considered or contacted.
No agencies or third-party submissions.
