Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Detail Draftsperson to create clear and comprehensive drafting plans for the furniture layout and design of a 3BHK residence. The candidate will work closely with our interior design team, utilizing provided 3D models and renders to translate the vision into precise, carpenter-friendly drafting plans. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD drafting and a basic understanding of interior design principles.
Responsibilities:
Review Design Specifications: Collaborate with the interior design team to thoroughly understand the design specifications, layout, and aesthetics of the 3BHK residence.
Utilize 3D Models and Renders: Incorporate 3D models and renders provided by the design team as references for creating detailed furniture drafting plans.
Create Furniture Layouts: Use AutoCAD software to create furniture layout plans that include accurate measurements, placements, and clear annotations.
Detail Furniture Components: Draft detailed plans for each piece of furniture, including dimensions, materials, joinery details, and any other pertinent information necessary for carpenters to execute the designs accurately.
Coordinate with the Design Team: Maintain open communication with the interior design team to address any design modifications or adjustments needed during the drafting process.
Ensure Clarity and Precision: Pay close attention to detail, ensuring that the drafting plans are error-free and easy to understand by carpenters without ambiguity.
Follow Industry Standards: Adhere to industry standards and best practices for drafting, ensuring that the plans are in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting software.
Basic knowledge of interior design principles and terminology.
Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting work.
Ability to interpret 3D models and renders into 2D drafting plans.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Problem-solving skills to address design challenges.
Knowledge of carpentry and woodworking techniques is a plus.
Previous experience in residential furniture drafting is preferred.
