Japanese Modern Living Room Redesign
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
I’m ready to give my apartment’s living room a calm, Japanese-modern personality and would like a designer who can translate that vision into a clear, build-ready plan. Think clean lines, warm wood accents, and a balanced mix of grey and brown that feels both grounded and contemporary—no other rooms are in scope, so all your energy can go into perfecting this single space.
To keep the project efficient, here’s what I’m expecting:
• A mood or concept board that captures the overall atmosphere, materials, and color palette (grey and brown as the foundation).
• Scaled furniture layout with traffic flow considered for a compact apartment setting.
• At least one set of realistic 3D visuals or rendered perspectives so I can confidently sign off before we move to procurement.
• A concise specification sheet listing finishes, key furniture pieces, lighting, and décor accents that stay true to a Japanese-modern aesthetic (tatami-inspired textures, low-profile cabinetry, hidden storage, etc.).
Once these items meet the brief, the job is complete. If you’re experienced with tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar visualization software—and you have an eye for Japanese minimalism—I’d love to see your approach and previous work samples.
