IoT Technical Specifications Rewriter
Budget: €6 – €12 EUR
We are a manufacturer of an air separation machine. We need an experienced technical writer/engineer to clean up and complete our product technical manual so it fully conforms to UL 61010-1.
Scope & responsibilities:
• Review existing manual content and engineering information and bring it into full compliance with UL 61010-1.
• Create or revise safety sections, warnings, installation and maintenance procedures, and operational instructions to meet the standard.
• Produce technical drawings and diagrams required by the manual, including wiring diagrams, connection schematics, and a product spec sheet/BOM.
• Work with our engineering team to resolve missing information and clarify ambiguous areas.
• Deliver a compliance checklist referencing UL 61010-1 clauses addressed and any open items.
• Maintain confidentiality and sign an NDA if required.
Required qualifications:
• Proven experience preparing technical manuals for electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of UL 61010-1 and experience producing documentation that meets UL/NRTL requirements.
• Ability to create clear wiring diagrams, schematics, and spec sheets (tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Visio, Altium, or similar).
• Strong technical writing skills in English.
• Familiarity with safety risk assessments and safety-related documentation preferred.

• Complete technical manual compliant with UL 61010-1 (editable source + print-ready PDF).
• Wiring diagrams and schematics (editable and PDF/DWG).
• Product spec sheet and BOM.
• UL compliance checklist and summary report.
• Timeline and cost estimate for the project.
