Inventor 2D-3D Detailed Conversion

I have a collection of 2D CAD drawings that now need to be in 3D for product-visualisation and FEA purposes. Everything must be recreated in Autodesk Inventor, built all the way down to internal components so the assemblies look and function exactly as the real product will. I would prefer it if it could be a mentoring exchange, where I built it with your guidance.

There are no proprietary guidelines; common industry standards for modelling, naming and file organisation. What matters is precision: dimensions must match the original drawings, moving parts must assemble correctly, and the final Inventor files should be clean, fully parametric and easy for me to update later.

Deliverables
• Inventor part and assembly files (*.ipt, *.iam) with fully modelled internals
• A neutral exchange format set (STEP and IGES)
• One exploded-view or section screenshot per assembly to prove internal detail is present
