Industrial Machinery Design Engineer

Job ID: 39815309

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I’m moving several industrial-machinery projects from concept into full detailed design and need an experienced mechanical engineer who can step in right away. The overall architecture is fixed; what I need now is precise part modelling, tolerance stacks, material selection and all the manufacturing documentation that turns a solid idea into something the factory can build.

Most of the work revolves around refining and expanding existing CAD assemblies, producing clean 2D drawings, and running quick strength or thermal checks. If you’re comfortable switching between SolidWorks, Inventor or similar tools—and can back up your choices with concise ANSYS or hand-calculation summaries—this will feel familiar. Responsiveness and tidy, well-labelled files are crucial because I’ll be tapping you regularly as new pieces of the machine evolve.

Deliverables for each assignment
– Native 3D CAD files of updated parts and assemblies
– Fully dimensioned manufacturing drawings (PDF & DWG)
– Current bill of materials
– Brief calculation / FEA note when analysis is required

Send a short note on industrial machinery you’ve taken through detailed design, along with the software you prefer. I’ll start with a small module to confirm fit, then roll into a steady stream of tasks.
