Home Addition and Remodel
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I'm looking for a skilled contractor to help with a home addition and remodel. The primary purpose of this project is to create extra living space, specifically by adding a bedroom with an en suite bathroom, expanding the living room, and switching the kitchen and dining room areas. The new living space will need to connect to the kitchen.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Expertise in home additions and remodels
- Experience with kitchen and dining room reconfigurations
- Ability to design and construct en suite bathrooms
- Strong understanding of space optimization and layout design
I have a set of design and construction plans for a prior iteration of this expansion/remodel that we have decided not to use. It shows the dimensions of the existing home. I have prepared a sketch of our ideas for the added/remodeled space. I also used AI to create images of the facades we like for the front of the home an rear of the home. I want to disrupt as little of the second level as possible. Of course we will need to tie-in the roof lines, but I prefer not to impact windows or interior spaces in the second level.
The project needs to start immediately and be completed within 4 weeks. It requires an engineer's stamp accepted in Catawba County, North Carolina.
